After last years softball season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Spring 2020, Senior Madison Shea was grateful for a full season of softball this year. She especially loved when the team won against Freedom High School. Being the only senior on the team, Shea found herself more grateful for the game and her teammates. She looked forward to her senior night and knew it would be great. She was excited to celebrate all of the hard work she had put into softball over the past few years. “My love for the game has only grown stronger this season,” Shea said. Although she is sad to see the season end, Shea is considering playing softball in college as she studies to enter the medical field as a pediatric nurse or athletic trainer.
